Welcome to the all new GlobalScot website. We hope you will agree that the site is a big step forward in fostering interaction and engagement between our International Networks and Scotland's business community.

The International Networks team were established to;

  • Harness the power of our international networks and relationships that will make a difference to Scotland's future;
  • Connect Scottish businesses to people and opportunities, creating a vibrant, wide-reaching and engaged environment in which businesses can motivate each other to greater success; and
  • Develop and enhance the quality of relationships and maintain long lasting connections.

We hope this site will facilitate these relationships, as well as inform and engage all its users, whether they are our members, Scottish companies or key partners.

The Team - what we do

The International Networks team are part of Scottish Enterprise, and work in close collaboration with Scottish Development International (SDI), the Scottish Government and partners to ensure that the GlobalScot network delivers the maximum benefit for Scotland.

The team's main responsibilities include:

  • Building new networks and identifying networking opportunities.
  • Facilitating introductions between GlobalScots and companies alike.
  • Ensuring that the GlobalScot community is engaged, active and vibrant.
  • Connecting regularly with Scottish businesses and promoting the reputation, importance and use of GlobalScot.
  • Increasing the role and visibility of GlobalScots and the GlobalScot network.
  • Monitoring the performance and evaluation framework of GlobalScot's activities and impact.
  • Managing GlobalScot network membership.

With a common belief in the importance and power of effective networking in business, the International Networks team is dedicated to furthering Scotland's commercial success by bringing like-minded business people together.
