Becoming a GlobalScot

GlobalScot: How do I become a member?

Membership of the GlobalScot network is by invitation only, as we insist on the highest standards in order to maintain our reputation as a world-class resource for Scottish businesses.

Nominees are then assessed by the International Networks Team in Scottish Enterprise according to their personal achievements, standing in their industry and ability to contribute to the industry sectors that have been identified as important to Scotland's future growth.

Following successful evaluation, an application will then be forwarded to the First Minister of Scotland, who, upon approval, will write personally to the individual, inviting them to officially join the GlobalScot network.

Becoming a GlobalScot

Once you have accepted your invitation and registered as a GlobalScot, you will be assigned a Relationship Manager from the International Networks Team. They will be your main point of contact within the International Networks Team in Scotland.

In addition, you will have a local contact situated in the Scottish Development International office closest to where you are based.

Through these contacts and this website you will be able to communicate your experience and business acumen to new and expanding Scottish businesses seeking success both at home and abroad.
