The European Seafood Exposition is the world's largest seafood fair. Attracting buyers and sellers from over 140 countries around the world and featuring the stands of over 1600 exhibitors, the European Seafood Exposition is one of the most significant events for the Scottish seafood industry.

Eighteen Scottish seafood and aquaculture companies will be travelling to the event with Scottish Development International and will exhibit together under the banner 'Scotland Food and Drink'. This will help build Scotland's reputation internationally as the 'Land of Food and Drink'.

On the evening of Wednesday 28^th April (5 - 7pm), Cabinet Secretary for Rural Affairs and the Environment, Richard Lochhead, will attend a drinks reception at the event along with the Scottish exhibitors. GlobalScots who are travelling to the event or who will be in the area at the time are cordially invited to attend.
