GlobalScot Bill Law appointed Vice President

GlobalScot Bill Law has been appointed to the role of Vice President, Corporate Communications, at Volvo Construction Equipment’s North American organization.

Bill will work as part of the local executive management team, helping drive both internal communications and press relations for the region, as well as continuing to develop corporate communication standards and practices for communications across both the sales and manufacturing businesses.

Based in Pennsylvania, US, Bill will co-ordinate the communication of both global and regional information and will report to regional President Goran Lindgren.

Bill who’s appointment becomes effective on June 27th, said: “This is an exciting time to be in North America due to the significant investments that are being made in our operations and a strongly recovering American market. I am honored to take on this position and am very much looking forward to the challenge.”

Bill’s previous role was Brussels-based at external corporate communications for Volvo Construction Equipment’s Global Headquarters.

Bill specialises in global corporate communications work within the automotive industry, with focus on communication during the time of a merger and acquisition.

Bill was posted inside the Nissan Diesel organization after it was acquired by the Volvo Group to head up integration communication work.
