Scotland's International Trade and Investment Strategy 2011-15

In recent months, SDI has been working closely with Scottish Government, Scottish Enterprise and Highlands and Islands Enterprise to develop the strategy document.

This strategy gives direction to both public and private sector partners and clearly states the priorities we all need to deliver against in the next five years.

Scottish Development International has been tasked with leading the implementation of the strategy. With SDI’s professionalism and expert knowledge, they have a critical role to play in coordinating the efforts of others while also positively influencing wider policy and actions to deliver increased international trade and investment for Scotland.

SDI are currently finalising their Business Plan for 2011/12, which will fully reflect the new strategy.

There will undoubtedly be new challenges and opportunities which Scotland will need to respond to. This strategy gives clear direction which will allow partners to make the right decisions as they move forward.
