New Additions to the network

In our 10th year we are proud to say that we are stronger than ever. We are pleased to announce some fantastic new additions to the GlobalScot network:
James Clark
Currently Vice President of Research and Development for the molecular Diagnostic company MDx Health based in Liege, Belgium. The company specialises in using DNA methylation to predict patient responses to pharmaceutical drugs.
James previously started his own consultancy, Permedx Ltd to leverage knowledge of personalised medicine and translational medicine. James began his research career in Glasgow University.
James has already strongly contributed to selling Scotland as a GlobalScot by speaking at the recent UK-Nordic Oncology Conference on the topic of personalised medicine.
David Currie
Currently Director, Global Subsea Operations based out of Houston Texas. With over 27 years experience in the oil and gas industry, David has held several global executive positions within FMC Technologies, a global leader providing mission-critical technology solutions for the energy, food processing and air transportation industries.
His roles range from the role of Vice President and General Manager of the FMC Measurement Division based in the United States to position of Managing Director of all UK subsea operations based in Dunfermline.
Most recently, David had served on the Board of Carnegie College based in Dunfermline, part of his commitment to developing relationships within the local community and investing in the future workforce of tomorrow.
Eileen Gallagher
Prior to co-founding Shed Productions, Eileen was Managing Director of LWT (London Weekend Television) and Deputy Managing Director of Granada Broadcasting. She also co-created Bad Girls and The Fugitives.
Eileen's business experience and strong creative influence have been instrumental in Shed’s success. In 2002/2003 Eileen picked up two industry awards for outstanding achievements for her work with Shed and the independent production sector as a whole.
Marcus Cent
Currently CEO and majority shareholder in the Clicksco Group, providing in excess of $60m worth of online leads to global advertisers. Marcus is an experienced Internet professional with a 14 year track record in the creation of successful and innovative online businesses.
Notable business success stories include company growth and leadership in areas including web strategy and design, web application development, paid search, and online marketing.
Marcus was a runner up in the 1999 Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year awards. Marcus has previously founded several companies including a web development and design company.
