Energy costs are on a rising agenda in most business. So called "Carbon costs" are also high on the agenda. Refrigerants and their unexpected release to atmosphere can further increase the carbon footprint of cooling systems.

For 40 years, Star Refrigeration have used proven technology to deliver the best possible solutions for cooling.

Now this technology is being offered to provide heating solutions as well, still with the same under pinning criteria of lowest financial and carbon cost.

A heatpump is just another name for a refrigeration plant, except the user is interested in the hot bit as well.

Taking this idea one step forward, Star Refrigeration are able to offer a solution which can provide cooling for large district systems and then recover the extracted heat and use this to boil seawater to deliver "fresh drinking water".

It is estimate that the cost of this water is 1/3 of that from Reverse Osmosis solutions. The systems are also designed to have lower maintenance costs, lower carbon footprints and overall the simplest provision of cooling and drinking in one packaged solution.

Over 80%of the energy used to provide the water will be waste heat; most of this collected solar energy.

Our goal is to bring "cooling and water" to as much of the World as possible.
